London International Cinema Festival

We are pleased to announce that Buried in Burma is an official selection for the London International Cinema Festival on February 9-15th. We have been nominated for Best Director of a Documentary Feature, Best Documentary Feature, and the Historical Education Award.

Publishing Deal with The History Press

We are pleased to announce that The Ampersand Agency, which represents our book The Buried Spitfires of Burma: A Fake History, has secured a publishing deal with The History Press. The book will be on bookshelves across the UK in May 2020.

From the Ampersand Agency website: “The History Press have snapped up the true-life mystery by Tracy Spaight and Andy Brockman, who investigate the extraordinary story of a large number of brand-new Spitfires that were supposedly buried in Burma at the end of the Second World War. The attempt to find these iconic planes made headlines around the world, and our authors peel away every layer of this modern myth until they get to the uncomfortable truth.”

The film is at last ready for release

After months of editing and shooting some new material, the documentary film is at last ready for release. We will post details about the premier later this year.
